EdIndex is a partnership between the Council and 20 Housing Associations and Housing Co-operatives in Edinburgh that enables you to apply for homes by filling in just one form. The EdIndex form is available from any Council Neighbourhood Offices or from any of the EdIndex partners.
The Council and thirteen partner Housing Associations and Co-operatives in the City are letting all of their available homes through EH Your Key to Choice. Available properties are advertised each week here and in the Monday edition of the Edinburgh Evening News. Free copies of the supplement are also available at all Local Neighbourhood Offices, Housing Association Offices, Co-operatives and libraries. You can also surf the internet for free at your local library.
You can see all the properties that are available and bid for a home that is right for you. You can choose up to a total of three homes each week.
We must receive your form by the advertised closing date which is always 3.30pm on a Friday. If we do not receive your form by the closing date you will not be considered for the homes you have picked.
If you are successful we will contact you after the closing date. If you are unsuccessful you will not be contacted and should carry on bidding.

At the time of publication the properties advertised are available for let, if a property is withdrawn this may be due to damage to the property or the tenant has decided not to move. To start searching for a home you can use the quick search below or click on Property search.
