The City of Edinburgh Council website is where you can find information on all Council services. It’s easy to use, for example. If you want to know where the local schools are just Click on Learning. If you would like to know more about the choice of activities in the area Click on Leisure.

Neighbourhood Partnerships are organisations working together with local people, to improve services and quality of life. Activities, membership and structures are guided by issues that are important in the area.

UpMyStreet The UK’s number one site for home and local decisions. To explore your area just type in the postcode. Find information on anything from local property prices, renting, to your local Council representatives or leisure and fun.

Google Maps lets you can find directions through it’s highly advanced interactive map system and much more.

NHS Scotland will give you information on doctors, dentists, clinics etc in your area. You will be able to see specialist services such as blood transfusion services, screening programmes and primary care practitioners.

Edinburgh Housing Advice Partnership (EHAP) The Edinburgh Housing Advice Partnership (EHAP) is a new Edinburgh-wide housing advice, information and representation service available to tenants in all tenure types (council, housing association and private sector) and owner-occupiers. The primary aim of the service is to prevent homelessness. EHAP comprises the Community Help and Advice Initiative (CHAI), Granton Information Centre (GIC), Four Square and Move On. Advisers are based in a variety of neighbourhood locations. Interpreters can be provided and premises are wheelchair accessible.
